Lord, Thank you for choosing me and all, but I wonder if you considered a little issue that I would like to bring to your attention. I don’t know if you noticed Lord, but I’m kinda pathetic.

You intend to use me to perform your works and wonders. You intend to bless me and to advance me. You intend to carry out your will through my hands. That’s all well and good but Lord, I’m a sucky tool.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

For when we feared the unseen,
Or when we shook at the foreseen,
And when the fears that are familiar
Came with those we had never seen before,
Then did your mighty courage pour into our hearts

I just read about this book God’s Ghost busters that proves to be a rather fascinating read. One of the book reviewers had this to say;

Man may get drowned in his troubles, whichever they may be, but let him hear that there is a God who is able, he will lift his drowsy and pain-laded eyes heavenward, and his spirit will experience amazing resurgence.

Our hearts have heard the good tidings, O God, concerning your omnipotent power, and our downcast faces have been renewed with hope and joy unspeakable. For who is like unto the Lord, mighty to save, working wonders?
